Announcing the February 3 2017 UCCE Annual Strawberry Production Research Meeting

Announcing the 2017 Annual Strawberry Production Research meeting. 

Meeting will be held at the Elk's Lodge at 121 Martinelli Street in Watsonville on February 3.  We have a very heavy set on fumigation alternatives and soil pathology (as we should, methyl bromide is gone), regulation, solid material on one of our other big challenges labor, rounded out with talks on lygus and irrigation.  Partner California Strawberry Commission closes with a research update.

2015 Annual Strawberry Production Research Meeting

Announcing the 2015 Annual Strawberry Production Research meeting on February 20. 

Please note that it's a few weeks later than usual because of the North American Strawberry Grower's Association meeting from February 3 to February 6 (which by the way I strongly recommend - just looked at the schedule this morning and it is chock a block with good speakers and excellent content). 

Additionally, the location will be back at the Elk's Lodge on 121 Martinelli Street in Watsonville.

Announcing the 2014 Strawberry Production Research Meeting this coming February 4. Plenty of talks on the topics that concern strawberry growers the most these days- new varieties, growing strawberries, managing lygus, diseases and viruses.

2012 Annual Central Coast Strawberry Meeting

The UCCE Annual Central Coast Strawberry Meeting will take place this year on February 2.  The agenda is available at the website given below:

Please note that the venue has changed this year from the usual Elk's Lodge.   This year's event will be held at the Kennedy Youth Center, 2401 E. Lake Avenue in Watsonville.
